As a leader in the PDC and switch gear industry, our fabrication team works closely with our production and manufacturing teams to delivery above-standard power distribution centers and switch gears.

As a Fabrication Lead you will:

• Perform as instructed when instructed
• Adhere to all Safe Practices, wearing and caring for all PPE required by OSHA and Company Policy
• Badge in, Clock in and Job in daily
• Understand and able to instruct others in units of measure and is able to perform mathematical skills
• Analyze and direct work per instruction and schedules, bills of materials and blueprints. Determine information such as material to be used, type of operations and sequence of operations required. Also look for allotted time for jobs and conveys to employees involved in producing the production work order
• Possess knowledge of set up and operation of machines in areas of responsibility inspects work in progress
• Adhere to production schedules and directs worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. Confer with other Leads to coordinate activities of individual departments. Direct employees in department to time estimates for each job. Hold employees accountable for these times
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Assist in plant layout and process and material flow
• Relate and enforce company policies and safety regulations to workers. Perform activities of workers supervised. Select, manage and coordinate with subordinate personnel for each area of manufacturing

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year certificate from technical school; or three to four years of related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
